Disable Facebook Friend's Annoying Application

Facebook is good for keeping in touch with friends and family and all that but what annoys me most is the friend's status updates. Specially those family/friends who keep adding those stupidestapplication into their facebook pages and we have to suffer from their status updates.

A recent study categorized 40 percent of Twitter tweets as "pointless babble," and it wouldn't be surprising if updates on Facebook, still a fast-growing social network, break down in a similar way.

So if you are a victim of such annoying updates, here is how you can disable those friend's annoying application statuses

First identify the friend's application status that you would like to hide or disable. Check out the screenshots below. I am taking one application for e.g. "Anita Predictions.. the online Phychic". These application statuses annoys me like anything and you can't say anything to your friends or family so. First select the status that you want to hide..

Now on the top right corner, you will find a "Hide" button, click on the "Hide" button and you will see the following three options.

Click on the "Hide Anita Predictions" button and you will never see "Anita Predictions" for any of your friends forever.

Apple iPhone OS 4.0 - Features, Printing, Multitasking

So the world and millions of iPhone/iPod/iPad fans are eagerly waiting for the Apple's iPhone OS 4.0. On Thursday, the company will be presenting a sneak peak at the next iPhone OS as well as a rumored new iPhone model. Would that be iPhone 4G? We don't know that yet.

A first of its kind to record your favourite shows using your mobile phones from anywhere in the world.

Airtel digital TV Recorder will be available at Rs 6990/- to all new customers and at Rs 5990/- to all existing Airtel digital TV customers going in for an upgrade.

To avail the service, you can buy the digital TV Recorder from a near-by retailer and call customer care at 18001028080 for activation. You need to send an sms from the registered mobile number linked to the Airteldigital TV account with ‘mguide’ to 54325 and download the mobile recording application.

Using your customer ID and password you can log on and record shows from any mobile Java and GPRS enabled handset.

DirecTV, a DTH service provider in USA is also offering such service for its customers. So be prepared for Tata Sky, Reliance Big TV to come up with similar mobile tv recording applications soon.
